Plotter for Quantum Tunneling Through a Barrier Potential
Plots transmission probability T(E) for a particle of mass m through a
rectangular barrier of height V₀ and width a. The exact formula for a finite barrier is used:
For E ≥ V₀: T = [1 + (V₀² sin²(k₂ a)) / (4 E (E − V₀))]⁻¹,
For E < V₀: T = [1 + (V₀² sinh²(κ a)) / (4 E (V₀ − E))]⁻¹,
with k₂ = √(2m(E − V₀))/ħ and κ = √(2m(V₀ − E))/ħ.
