Compton Scattering Plotter
Choose your incident photon (wavelength or energy + unit) and set the θ range.
All six parameters—λₒ, Δλ, Eₒ, ΔE, Kₑ, φₑ—will be plotted vs θ in scientific notation (3 decimals).
Parameter Definitions
- λₒ: Outgoing photon wavelength after scattering (m).
- Δλ: Wavelength shift due to scattering (pm).
- Eâ‚’: Energy of the scattered photon (eV).
- ΔE: Energy lost by photon (eV).
- Kâ‚‘: Kinetic energy of recoil electron (eV).
- φₑ: Recoil electron angle from initial photon direction (°).
λₒ (Outgoing Wavelength, m)
Δλ (Wavelength Shift, pm)
Eâ‚’ (Outgoing Energy, eV)
ΔE (Energy Shift, eV)
Kâ‚‘ (Recoil Electron KE, eV)
φₑ (Electron Recoil Angle, °)
